Automatically attaching drawings to jobs
Quote from Guest on 13 August 2019, 9:19 am
Good morning
We have customers whom we visit on a yearly basis to service their septic tanks. We have small sketch drawings which show the position of these tanks. Currently I can scan in these plans and attach to a job but I have to do it every time I raise a new job. Is it possible to attach these drawings to the customer record (just like the address is stored) so that everytime I raise a job for that customer the relevant drawing is included.
Many thanks
Lorraine

Hi Lorraine
We don't have the ability to add documents to the customer record at present.
However, what you could do is copy the previous years job and then check the box - copy any attachments. This will automatically add the sketch to the new job without you having to manually upload it again.
Here's a related post from our forum which shows how to do it - copying images between jobs
Thanks
Lauren
