Time and date on signature

Is the date and time on signatures a new feature?
I find the date and time on signatures actually useful but sometimes we work for other companies as a subcontractor who do not want this on the job sheets we send to them. Is there any way to remove this feature for us? I can delete the
signature for them of course but it still leaves the box with the date and time.

The date and signature has always been there.
We can turn the signature off at the job type level. i.e., for all Job Sheet Customer templates. (or you can create a new job template and we can turn it off for that new one).
