Yearly jobs

Good morning

I have just found the recurring scheduling capability on Okappy.  This could be very useful, it solves my earlier query to allow documents associated with a customer to be available on a new job.  I have had a little play with it and the only problem I can see at the moment would be that a lot of our customers have jobs done on a yearly basis, which the recurring option allows for, but it loads the jobs as live jobs in the current schedule, all be it that the date is for next year.  As you can imagine if you have 100 + people with jobs scheduled for various dates next year the outstanding jobs screen becomes very cumbersome.   I appreciate we can sort by date and we can restrict the number of jobs showing on the screen but both of these options impact on other processes we utilise.  Have you any ideas?  Perhaps scheduled jobs only showing in the months they are scheduled for – or something similar.

Hi Lorraine

Glad you saw the recurring jobs and it might be useful.

Yes I see what you're saying about lots of jobs in the future. Based on your idea of only showing jobs in the current month, you could do that by typing /08/ or 08/2019 into the filter which would filter to this months jobs only. That filter would stay if you changed views from say outstanding jobs to completed jobs and even if you logged out and back in again.

Thanks

Lauren
