Creating a job in Okappy from Hubspot

HubSpot is a CRM platform with all the software, integrations, and resources you need to connect marketing, sales, content management, and customer service.

You can connect Hubspot to Okappy and automatically create customers in Okappy when a customer has been added in Hubspot or create a job in Okappy when a ticket has been raised in Hubspot.

Use a web hook to link Hubspot to Okappy

To create a job in Okappy, you can utilise Hubspot workflows and web hooks.

Note: The availability of workflows is dependant on your Hubspot product and subscription.

To add a connection between Hubspot and Okappy,

  • Click Automations from the top menu bar

  • Select Workflows
  • Click the Create workflows button, and
  • Choose to create a workflow From scratch

  • Choose Ticket based on the left hand side of the page

  • Ensure Blank workflow is selected on the right hand side of the page
  • Click Next
  • In the Ticket Enrolment trigger box, click the Set up triggers button

  • Click When an event occurs on the right hand side

  • In the Enrolment triggers screen, click Object created

  • Ensure Record created is shown
  • Where it says Should tickets be re-enrolled in this workflow?, ensure the option No, only enrol each ticket once is checked
  • Click Save
  • Click the Plus button

  • Click Send a webhook

  • In the method dropdown, select Post

  • Enter api.okappy.com/rest/hubspotEvent in the Webhook URL* field

  • Leave Authentication type set to None
  • Check Include all ticket properties in the Request body section
  • At this stage, you can either test action, or
  • Click Save
